About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at HM Prison Foston Hall. As a Senior Mental Health Nurse, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake medication rounds and dispense controlled medication
  • Attend emergency response situations and assess patients
  • Undertake reception screening and assess patients' health needs using an evidence-based framework
  • Make clinical judgments regarding immediate needs and long-term treatment

Requirements

  • Qualified Registered Nurse (Mental Health) with a passion for developing clinical skills
  • Experience in clinical management or a willingness to take the next step in your career
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team of clinical professionals
