About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our Bolsover Mental Health Support Team (MHST). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing mental health support to children and young people in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing issues
  • Support designated senior mental health leads in each setting
  • Provide timely advice to school and college staff and parents as required
Requirements
  • Core professional qualification relevant to mental health
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Knowledge of educational environments and safeguarding issues
  • Experience of working with children and young people, their families and others
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
