Yeovil, Somerset, United Kingdom Screwfix Full time
About the Role

As a key member of our Capability & Digital Learning team, you will be working on exciting digital learning content projects in preparation for our move to a new LMS platform. Your role will involve designing and building innovative digital training solutions, collaborating with stakeholders and L&D colleagues to ensure that we have the right digital tools in place for our colleagues.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract opportunity, allowing you to gain valuable experience in our dynamic and collaborative environment.

We believe in a hybrid, flexible working approach, offering you the best of both worlds. You will work from our head office three days a week, with flexible hours around our core working hours of 10am-3pm. The rest of the time, how, when, and where you work is up to you.

About Our Culture

We've worked hard to build an office that's comfortable, relaxed, and perfect for productivity. With a subsidised canteen, free parking, and a friendly atmosphere, you'll want to spend time here.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Create or evolve a range of digital learning solutions to meet operational needs and business priorities from various stakeholders.
  • Utilise our Learning Management System to offer the most suitable learning solution for customers, considering user needs, experience, and transfer of learning.
  • Advise stakeholders on the most suitable learning offer for business needs while meeting learning needs and learner experience.
  • Effectively build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders to understand learning and development needs.
  • Review current learning content with stakeholders to look for opportunities to improve the learning offer from different perspectives of system functionality, business need, and neurodiversity.

About You

We're looking for someone with experience using authoring tools and Adobe InDesign to develop digital learning content. You should also have experience using a Learning Management System or web design to deliver learning content. Previous experience in delivering digital learning to a range of audiences is essential, as is your ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders. You'll also possess high-quality communication skills (written and verbal) with strengths in formal/informal communication.

What We Offer

  • An estimated salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A comprehensive benefits package including enhanced family leave, pension scheme, discounts at Screwfix & B&Q, and more.
