Mental Health Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to lead our South Kent Coastal Community Mental Health Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical leadership and work collaboratively with other consultants to deliver high-quality care to patients in Deal and surrounding villages.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of providing medical input to patients under care of the community mental health team, strengthening relationships with external agencies, and taking an active leadership role in screening referrals and assessment of new patients jointly with other team members.
This is a community-based post that requires flexibility and collaboration with two other consultants. Ideal candidates will ideally have MRCPsych or equivalent and be on, or within six months of inclusion on, the Specialist Register. You will also need to be fully registered with the GMC and have Approved Clinician status and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act (or achieve this within 3 months of appointment).
We offer a competitive salary range of £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.
