Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Head of Service to join our team at HC-One - Acomb Court. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of care services, ensuring the well-being of our residents, and promoting a culture of kindness and compassion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery of care services, ensuring high standards of care and support are maintained
  • Lead a team of care staff, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care services
  • Monitor and report on care quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements
  • Experience in a care leadership role, preferably in a similar setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Knowledge of care regulations and standards, with the ability to ensure compliance
