About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Service to join our team at HC-One. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality food and nutrition services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective food safety and hygiene practices to ensure the well-being of our residents.
  • Manage and maintain kitchen facilities, equipment, and supplies to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service and quality food.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and resident satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and waste management to optimize resources.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, including The Food Safety Act 1990 and The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
