Job Overview

The Head of Engineering (Systems and Projects) role is a senior leadership position within CV Library, responsible for defining and implementing an engineering strategy and operational plan. As the technical authority, you will be accountable for Systems Engineering across the business and for the engineering project/product delivery within the Deployable Infrastructure Business Line.

Key responsibilities will include developing and leading the transformation of the Systems Engineering function, establishing best-in-class systems engineering practices throughout the organisation, and implementing processes and governance that support programme delivery timelines for design and development activities.

The ideal candidate will have full product and system engineering lifecycle experience along with a solid understanding of a breadth of engineering disciplines, including mechanical and electrical engineering design and development. Proven track record of successfully leading teams, developing technical capability, and driving effective systems engineering practices are essential.

A competitive salary of £71.62 per hour PAYE + Holiday pay or £97.49 per hour Umbrella is offered for this role, reflecting the importance of this strategic position.
