NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to lead a team as a Charge Nurse in the Neuro Rehabilitation Unit. The successful candidate will have significant post-registration experience at band 5 level and a true passion for Neuro rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of nurses in providing high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence within the unit.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members and contribute to their professional development.
- Participate in ward meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Significant post-registration experience at band 5 level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Knowledge of quality improvement principles and practices.
