About the Role
We Are With You is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team in North West Glasgow. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with substance misuse and addiction.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop personalized support plans
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and group work in outreach and community settings
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and partner agencies
- Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, prioritizing client well-being and safety
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement
Requirements
- SVQ level 3 in Social Services & Healthcare or equivalent
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or meet registration requirements
- Satisfactory enhanced PVG check
- Experience working in health, social care, or related settings
- Knowledge of delivering evidence-based interventions and group work
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- Resilience under pressure and prioritization skills
- Comfortable using IT and digital media
