About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Residential Care Home Lead to join our team at SGS Care Ltd.

\

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-quality care environment, providing excellent support to children with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • \
  • To lead and manage a team of carers to provide exceptional care and support to children with complex needs.\
  • To ensure the highest standards of care are maintained, adhering to regulatory requirements and The Quality Standards.\
  • To develop and implement person-centred plans, ensuring each child's unique needs are met.\
  • To work closely with other professionals, including therapists and educators, to provide comprehensive support to children.\

Requirements

  • \
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in residential childcare, with 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.\
  • A Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential Care; Level 5 preferred or to be obtained within 6 months.\
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage resources effectively.\
  • Comprehensive knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.\

Salary

The starting salary for this position is £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
