As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen. This includes cleaning cutlery, crockery, and kitchen utensils, as well as restocking plates and ensuring the work area is left tidy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Removing rubbish and bottles from the plate wash area to the skip and returning the trolley for bottles.
  • Restocking plates in the larder hot pass and fish section, ensuring all china is clean.
  • Stacking plates in the larder pass and fish section.
  • Ensuring the work area is left clean and tidy.
  • Keeping rubbish trolleys clean at all times.
  • Assisting in any job regarding hygiene or cleanliness asked for by a senior chef, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
