Role: SEN Specialist Support Worker
School Type: SEND school for students with complex, moderate and severe learning disabilities
Job Type: Temporary

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport students with SEND specific needs, well-being and academic abilities
Contribute to and work together with students to achieve their targets
Implement Individual Education Plans (IEP/ILPs) for pupils and monitor their progress
Lead one-to-one and small group learning activities and sessions
RequirementsGCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics
Experience working with children with social, emotional and mental health needs
Experience supporting children with wide range specific learning difficulties and other barriers to learning
Experience of and confidence in dealing with challenging behaviours
Emotional resilience and motivation by challenge
