Job Summary:

Horizon Teachers is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Walsall. The school caters to students with autism, aged 4-18. As a SEN Teacher, you will develop personalized lessons, create IEPs, and foster an inclusive classroom environment. Key responsibilities include tracking student progress, utilizing effective behavior management techniques, and collaborating with support staff.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver tailored lessons for students with special educational needs.
Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with support staff and specialists.
Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes personal growth, emotional well-being, and academic achievement.
Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and reports to inform future interventions and support strategies.
Employ effective behavior management techniques, de-escalation strategies, and positive reinforcement approaches to create a harmonious and productive learning atmosphere.
