Waterhouse-Kern Associates are pleased to be working with a rapidly-expanding and successful wealth management company to find a financial planner. You must have at least 10 year's experience in the field and have a Level 4 Diploma Qualification preferably through CII or CISI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive financial planning advice to clients, always prioritising their needs.
  • Manage existing client relationships inherited from long-standing financial planners, whilst developing new client relationships through proactive networking and business development.
  • Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge relating to core products through ongoing training and self-development.
  • Ensure key compliance and regulatory requirements relating to the financial planning process are adhered to.
  • Lead and oversee the preparation of client documentation including suitability reports.
  • Provide financial adviser guidance and mentorship to Relationship Managers and Administrators.

The company is a fast-expanding wealth management business in London, seeking a financial planner to join the team and advise their clients on their finances. The financial planner should be an effective communicator who is client-focused and can demonstrate experience in investments, pensions, savings, and protection while conforming to Consumer Duty.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial planning process and be able to provide expert advice to clients. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
