Purpose of Job:

To work within one of the financial advice teams, consisting of a Relationship Manager and administration support. The financial adviser will take full responsibility for the preparation of client reports, preparation and implementation of recommendations, and financial plans, as well as the ongoing review of client financial goals.

The Role:

The company is a fast-expanding wealth management business in London, seeking a financial planner to join the team and advise clients on their finances. The financial planner should be an effective communicator, client-focused, and able to demonstrate experience in investments, pensions, savings, and protection, while conforming to Consumer Duty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive financial planning advice to clients, always prioritizing their needs.
  • Manage existing client relationships inherited from long-standing financial planners, while developing new client relationships through proactive networking and business development.
  • Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge relating to core products through ongoing training and self-development.
  • Ensure key compliance and regulatory requirements relating to the financial planning process are adhered to.
  • Lead and oversee the preparation of client documentation, including suitability reports.
  • Provide financial adviser guidance and mentorship to Relationship Managers and Administrators.
