About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Hinkley Point C (HPC) Quality team. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting Supply Chain Audits, ensuring conformance with ISO 9001 and HPC Project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement a Risk-Based Supply Chain Audit Program: Design and execute a comprehensive audit program to ensure the quality and reliability of our supply chain.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Supply Chain Assurance, Inspection, Environmental, and Health & Safety teams to ensure effective audit planning and outcomes.
  • Define Audit Scope and Objectives: Develop clear audit scope, criteria, and objectives with Quality Management Leads to ensure effective audit execution.
  • Conduct Unplanned Audits: Conduct unplanned audits as needed, based on risk reviews, to ensure timely identification and mitigation of potential quality issues.
  • Engage Stakeholders and Auditees: Effectively engage stakeholders and auditees in audit planning to ensure their understanding and cooperation.
  • Monitor Non-Conformances: Monitor non-conformances to ensure timely closure and effective corrective actions.
  • Contribute to Monthly Dashboard Reports: Provide regular updates on the Supply Chain Audit Program to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Analyze Audit Results: Analyze audit results to identify improvement opportunities and provide recommendations for process enhancements.
Requirements
  • Lead Auditor Qualification: Possess a Lead Auditor qualification in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015.
  • Experience in Audit Programs: Have experience in executing audit programs in a multi-disciplinary project environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders and auditees.
  • Valid Driving License: Hold a valid driving license to facilitate travel to audit locations.
  • Regulated Environment Experience: Have experience working in a regulated environment, such as nuclear.
  • Membership of Professional Organizations: Be a member of professional organizations, such as the Chartered Quality Institute or IRCA.
