Senior Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer to join our team at Service Care Solutions - Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the provision of training and guidance for nuclear safety to project teams and suppliers.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and control, with a minimum of five years' experience in a construction or heavy industry environment. You will be responsible for managing legacy quality paperwork for designated projects, leading weekly meetings to provide quality progress, and overseeing the review and update of quality documents and processes.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the conduct of weekly inspections, including onsite inspections
  • Monitoring and following up on the progression of non-conformance reports
  • Reviewing compiled quality reports before submission
  • Managing the quality tracker
  • Raising surveillance observation notifications when required
  • Promoting a Right First Time and Nuclear Safety culture to project teams
  • Performing statistical analysis on identified deviations and providing feedback
  • Providing senior guidance and support on quality deliverables
  • Managing the compilation and submission of Lifetime Quality Record Packs
  • Managing the identification of, and raising of non-conformances
  • Managing the production of quality installation record maps
  • Full review of test results and certificates for compliance
  • Acting as a point of contact for all quality-related matters
  • Overseeing the uploads of as-built drawings from the team
  • Line management, coaching, and mentoring responsibilities
