Job Title: Engineering Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join our team at Spectis Robotics. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment rentals and repairs, as well as delegating tasks to our technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure efficient equipment rentals and repairs
  • Delegate tasks to the technical team and oversee their work
  • Carry out maintenance and repairs to client-owned and demo/rental equipment, including mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Identify faults and debug issues with mechanical and electronic systems
  • Write documentation for requirements, certification, and testing

Requirements:

  • HND or Degree in electrical/electronic engineering
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly/disassembly, electrical/electronic fault finding, repair, and testing
  • Experience working with robotic crawlers, ROVs, cameras, and related control systems
  • Ability to confidently communicate with customers and suppliers
  • Ability to identify faults and debug issues with mechanical and electronic systems

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working in the subsea, NDT industries, or related fields utilizing ROVs, cameras
  • Experience in the product design lifecycle – from concept to introduction into manufacturing
  • Knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design
