Senior Electrical Engineer

Wallacewhittle is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement electrical engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including design, construction, and operations, to ensure electrical engineering projects are aligned with the company's overall strategy and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure electrical engineering projects are delivered to their satisfaction.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure electrical engineering projects are being executed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement electrical engineering standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve electrical engineering projects and processes.
Requirements:
  • BEng (Hons) degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Chartered or working towards Chartership with IET/CIBSE.
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in Autocad and knowledge of Revit.
