Job Summary:
Service Care Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a passion for project management and budget control to join our team as an ICT Budget Officer. This exciting opportunity is part of the recruitment process for Merseyside Police's ICT Department.

The role involves monitoring ICT Department project throughput and processes, ensuring accurate expenditure tracking, and providing critical support to IS managers and programme coordinators. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy in budgetary tracking and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and check ICT orders and invoices against budgets and deliveries to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain comprehensive records of departmental expenditures and project plans.
• Support IS management by preparing budget forecasts and project resource plans.
• Produce detailed project summaries, including Gantt charts and critical path analyses.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve invoice and budgetary discrepancies.

Essential Skills & Experience:
• Educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent). Accountancy training is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy in budgetary tracking and forecasting.
• Familiarity with project management software and techniques, including Gantt charts.
• Knowledge of telephony tariffs and ICT systems is an advantage.

Estimated salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
