Part-Time Conveyancing Paralegal

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Conveyancing Paralegal to join our busy team in Hertfordshire. This role will involve working on a job share basis, with a flexible schedule that includes 3 days one week and 2 days the next week, alternating between Wednesday and Thursday, and every other Friday. The successful candidate will be expected to cover the other half of the job share's holidays and be able to work a full week when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering telephone calls and enquiries
  • Handling a caseload of conveyancing work from exchange to post completion without dictation
  • Generating fees in accordance with agreed targets
  • Carrying out land registry searches and completing necessary documentation with high accuracy
  • Drafting and writing skills, excellent communication and technical ability
  • Administering systems, including daily filing and maintaining up-to-date diaries
  • Ensuring confidentiality of practice, client documentation and information
  • Complying with external legislative and compliance requirements
  • Maintaining professional standards at all times
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in conveyancing
