Salary: £25k - £35k p/annum, dependant on experience

Reed Legal is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal to support a law firm specializing in property and private client practice. The successful candidate will assist conveyancing solicitors in managing residential and commercial property transactions from instruction to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents related to property transactions.
  • Conduct title searches and review title reports.
  • Liaise with clients, real estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process.
  • Draft contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documents.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and records.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Handle post-completion matters, including registration of title and payment of Stamp Duty Land Tax.
  • Provide general administrative support to the conveyancing team.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in conveyancing.
  • A paralegal certification or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Strong understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
