Conveyancing Paralegal Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team at Reed Legal. As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our conveyancing solicitors in managing residential and commercial property transactions from instruction to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Preparation: Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents related to property transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Title Searches and Reviews: Conduct thorough title searches and review title reports to ensure a smooth conveyancing process.
  • Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with clients, real estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process, providing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Contract Drafting and Management: Draft contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documents, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Client File Management: Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and records, ensuring seamless access to information.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Post-Completion Matters: Handle post-completion matters, including registration of title and payment of Stamp Duty Land Tax, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the conveyancing team, ensuring efficient workflow and effective communication.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in conveyancing.
  • A paralegal certification or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Strong understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
