Key Responsibilities

  • Data input using various internal/external IT systems to process orders for transport and input data entry manually or via external portals into our Traffic Management System.">
  • Coordinate activities, including daily service reports, customer relations, and administrative duties such as responding to queries via email, phone, and face-to-face.">
  • Liaise with internal and external customers and drivers on a daily basis, utilizing verbal and written communication skills.">
  • Ensure deliveries and collections are completed according to customer requirements while monitoring KPIs for delivery on time, shift revenue, and vehicle utilization.">
  • Manage and debrief drivers on a daily/weekly basis and ensure vehicle checks and defects are completed and recorded via Vehicle Check App.">
  • Present units/trailers for inspection as per published schedule and communicate collection times and delivery bookings with customers.">
  • Work closely with the Fleet Team to rectify defects in a timely manner and meet regularly with Line Managers to ensure efficient operations.">
  • Identify areas for additional value within existing contracts and ensure all contracted work is covered in line with customer expectations.">
  • Maintain adherence to policies and procedures within the Business Area and work collaboratively with customers and drivers to ensure smooth operation.">
  • The role can be fast-paced, and the work environment may be pressurized; however, you will receive support and training to succeed.">

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience working in a transport environment, including knowledge of the Working Time Directive and EU Drivers' Hours.">
  • Effective communication skills at all levels.">
  • Excellent organizational skills and prioritization of workload.">
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.">
  • Excellent time-keeping and reliability.">
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.">
  • Familiarity with MS packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.">
