Join North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust as a Senior Decontamination Supervisor and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our decontamination services.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with Quality Management Systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in decontamination, including knowledge of decontamination specific procedures and policies, as well as understanding of Quality Management processes and Health and Safety processes.

A salary of £26,530 - £29,114 pa pro rata is on offer for this role, which reflects the qualifications and experience required.

About the Role

This role involves working closely with the Quality Manager to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of decontamination services.

You will be responsible for daily management of the Quality System, ensuring compliance with ISO13485:2016 and providing support to department staff.

  • You will be responsible for prioritizing and reorganizing work as necessary to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • You will provide technical guidance and training to less experienced staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a foundation degree or diploma in medical device decontamination or equivalent experience.

Chartered membership of the Institute of Decontamination Sciences is also essential.

You will have a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and priorities, as well as experience in supervision and training less experienced/qualified staff.
