Job Description
Care Assistant responsibilities:
As a Care Professional with Home Instead, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality, person-focused care to our clients. With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you will have the time to make a real difference in people's lives.
Duties can include:
- Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
- Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
- Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
- Accompanying to appointments or shopping.
Essential Requirements:
It is ESSENTIAL to be a driver with access to a vehicle insured in your name with Class A Business Insurance.
Qualifications:
Formal care experience is not required. Experience is also welcomed.

Important Considerations:
It is ESSENTIAL to be resident within Salford (non-Salford postcodes will fall into other Home Instead Office's territories).
Working Hours:
You will be required to work at least 2 evenings and alternative weekends. Core hours are between 8am- 1pm and 4.45pm - 9.30pm, although there is potential to increase hours beyond these times.
