Our client is a leading manufacturer and marketer of technically advanced products, requiring effective customer engagement and strategic marketing to maintain its position at the forefront of the worldwide Tyres and Rubber sector.

The appointee will be responsible for driving global commercial activity across the company's range of Rubber Chemicals and Bonding Agents through both direct and indirect sales channels. Key objectives include delivering increased profitability through day-to-day management of product pricing, supporting cost control, and new product development. With a focus on setting, delivering, and measuring accurate sales budgets and forecasts, the incumbent will collaborate closely with all areas of the business to ensure common purpose and a coordinated approach.

Candidates should demonstrate a strong track record of commercial experience, strategic thinking, and teamwork. A degree in a science or technical discipline is preferred, along with excellent communication and presentation skills. The ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, develop new business opportunities, and drive financial growth are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global commercial strategies for Rubber Chemicals and Bonding Agents
  • Drive sales growth through direct and indirect channels
  • Manage product pricing to achieve maximum profitability
  • Support cost control initiatives and new product development
  • Set and deliver accurate sales budgets and forecasts

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial leadership role
  • Degree in a science or technical discipline
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
