Structural Engineer Job Description

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our team in Cambridge or Oakham. As a Structural Engineer, you will provide support to our local and national Engineering teams on a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct structural surveys and prepare reports
  • Prepare drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial properties
  • Assist in obtaining planning and/or building regulations approval
  • Perform site inspections and client visits
  • Monitor and inspect work undertaken by contractors
  • Administer contracts and manage projects
  • Assess the sustainability and environmental impact of each project
Requirements:
  • Degree in Structural Engineering or similar discipline - accredited by IstructE or ICE
  • Knowledge of legal requirements including CDM2015, Part wall, Listed buildings
  • Experience of consulting engineering, surveying, architectural & planning
  • UK Driving Licence
