Structural Engineer Opportunity

Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our client's multi-disciplinary consultancy team in Cambridge or Oakham. As a key member of the engineering team, you will provide support on a wide range of projects, including structural surveys, report preparation, calculations, design, and drawing preparation for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support local and national engineering teams on various projects
  • Prepare reports, calculations, and drawings for structural surveys
  • Provide advice to the insurance sector and assist with regional frameworks
  • Collaborate with regional teams on project delivery
  • Monitor and inspect work undertaken by contractors
  • Administer contracts and manage projects
Requirements:
  • 2+ years post-graduate experience in a multi-disciplinary consultancy environment
  • Good working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations
  • Degree in Structural Engineering or similar discipline, accredited by IstructE or ICE
  • Knowledge of legal requirements, including CDM2015, Part wall, and Listed buildings
  • Experience in consulting engineering, surveying, architectural, and planning
  • UK Driving Licence
