Facilities Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Co-ordinator to join our team at Driscoll's. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and operations of multiple buildings across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in facility management, project management, and a proven ability to lead and motivate a team. You will be responsible for leading projects for the development and construction of new buildings, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and managing a team of office assistants.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of multiple buildings across the EMEA region, ensuring all facilities are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with local regulations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all facilities.
- Coordinate with local contractors and service providers for facility repairs and maintenance.
- Manage security, cleaning, and other facility services.
- Create long-term maintenance plans for all facilities and align this with different stakeholders (IS, Finance, CC holders).
- Lead projects for the construction and development of new buildings, from initial planning to completion.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
- Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with all local building codes and regulations.
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Manage and provide direction to office assistants, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members are adequately supported.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget for facility operations and projects.
- Track and report on facility-related expenses.
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in facility management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple buildings/countries.
- Proven experience in managing construction and development projects.
- Strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and compliance requirements across the EMEA region.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
- Ability to travel within the EMEA region as required.
