Mencap is seeking dedicated individuals to support individuals with learning disabilities in Foxglove, Thetford.
As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.
At Foxglove, we support four individuals by upholding our Values: Passionate, Kind, Brave, Inclusive, and Positivity.
The role involves supporting individuals with all elements of their life, from personal care to supporting someone to live a meaningful and fulfilled life.
What we're looking for:
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract options:
- Full-time: 37.5 hours
- Part-time: various
Shift times:
All our services are 24-hour care. We prepare the rotas at least four weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life.
- Days: Between 07:00-22:00
- Sleep-ins: 22:00-07:00
