High-Performance FPGA Developer

We are seeking an experienced High-Performance FPGA Developer to join our team at European Tech Recruit.

This role involves designing, implementing, and verifying high-performance FPGA-based systems, utilizing advanced techniques like gated clock conversion and synthesizable models to accurately represent real-world systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • RTL Design and Modification: Create and modify RTL designs for complex systems, targeting dedicated FPGA prototyping platforms.
  • Design Implementation: Implement designs using advanced techniques like gated clock conversion and synthesizable models.
  • Technical Documentation: Produce high-quality, clear, and accurate technical documentation, including design specifications and verification plans.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and guide design decisions.
  • Project Management: Plan work packages, track project progress, and identify and mitigate risks.
  • FPGA Development: Develop and implement FPGA designs on internal and third-party platforms, including commissioning hardware and specifying peripheral components.

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Verilog/System Verilog or VHDL, in-depth knowledge of FPGA design flow, experience with FPGA design tools and methodologies, excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
