We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Design Lead to join our team at Eurotech Recruitment. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Cambridge, UK. As an experienced FPGA engineer, you will lead FPGA design initiatives and collaborate with development teams to create detailed design specs. Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team, overseeing project planning and delivery, and developing efficient FPGA designs.

About the Role

This key position will involve leading a team in creating FPGA prototypes and reference designs for IP platforms used by software developers and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team in developing FPGA implementations, from design to hardware commissioning.
  • Collaborate with development teams to break down high-level requirements into detailed design specs.
  • Oversee project planning and delivery, identifying risks and tracking milestones.
  • Develop efficient FPGA designs, including RTL creation and implementation, for both internal and third-party platforms.

The estimated salary for this role is £95,000 per annum based on market research in Cambridge, UK.
