Are you an experienced FPGA Design Engineer looking for a new challenge?

We are seeking an exceptional professional to join our team at European Tech Recruit, a leading semiconductor software design company based in the United Kingdom.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and verifying high-performance FPGA-based systems, utilizing advanced techniques like gated clock conversion and synthesizable models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and modifying RTL designs for complex systems, targeting dedicated FPGA prototyping platforms.
  • Implementing FPGA designs on both internal and third-party platforms, including commissioning hardware and specifying peripheral components.
  • Producing high-quality technical documentation, including design specifications and verification plans.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and guiding design decisions.
  • Estimating and planning work packages, tracking project progress, and identifying and mitigating risks.

Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in Verilog/System Verilog or VHDL.
  • In-depth knowledge of FPGA design flow, including synthesis, place and route, timing closure, and constraint development.
  • Experience with FPGA design tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
