Senior/Staff SoC Verification Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior/Staff SoC Verification Engineer to join our FPGA prototyping team at European Tech Recruit in Cambridge, United Kingdom.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will lead SoC RTL verification, including testbench development and test case creation in C. Additionally, they will integrate third-party VIPs and automate test cases and regression suites for improved coverage and efficiency.

Collaboration with design and verification teams is essential to ensure robust testing and verification strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead SoC RTL verification activities, encompassing testbench development and test case creation using C programming language.
  • Integrate third-party Verification IP (VIP) components and automate test cases and regression suites to enhance coverage and efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, comprising design and verification specialists, to establish effective testing and verification methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in SoC verification techniques and hardware description languages (SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL).
  • Strong understanding of computer architecture, bus protocols (AXI, AHB), and peripherals.
  • Expertise in scripting languages such as Tcl and Python.
  • Familiarity with ARM-based designs, verification methodologies (UVM/OVM), and debugging tools.
  • Knowledge of PCIe and CXL protocols is advantageous.

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Cambridge, United Kingdom.
