Senior/Staff Verification Engineer

A leading semiconductor innovator seeks a skilled Senior/Staff SoC Verification Engineer to join its FPGA prototyping team. This role involves verifying, testing, and optimizing System-on-Chip (SoC) designs for FPGA implementation in various sectors, including mobile, server, IoT, and automotive.

This is a long-term opportunity based in the UK.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Verify and validate SoC designs using RTL level coding and simulations.
  2. Develop testbenches and automate test cases to increase efficiency and coverage.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to create and implement comprehensive testing strategies.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Detailed knowledge of SoC verification and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of digital systems, bus interfaces, and peripheral components.
  • Ability to code in multiple programming languages, including Tcl and Python.
  • Familiarity with system-level verification frameworks and debug tools.
  • Knowledge of PCIe and CXL protocols is advantageous.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £90,000 - £125,000, commensurate with experience.
