We are seeking a highly skilled Senior FPGA Engineer to join our team at Entrust. As a Senior FPGA Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and verifying VHDL-based FPGA solutions for new products.

About the Role

  • Design and develop VHDL-based FPGA solutions for new products.
  • Work closely with other development disciplines to integrate FPGA solutions.
  • Support architecture team in developing new system architectures.
  • Ensure configuration control and CI/CD processes for FPGA designs.
  • Collaborate with small high-performing development teams.
  • Support security evaluation process.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in Electronic/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Maths, or other relevant discipline.
  • 3+ years proven track record in design and delivery of complex FPGA-based systems.
  • VHDL RTL design expertise.
  • Synthesis, place/route, and timing closure skills.
  • Test verification and simulation methods knowledge.
  • Xilinx FPGA architectures (including SoC) experience.
  • Integration and bring-up of hardware systems expertise.
  • Development on Linux & Windows based systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Intel (Altera) architectures (including SoC) experience.
  • Verilog knowledge.
  • Range of software development experience including MATLAB, C, Python.
  • Cryptographic algorithm design skills.
  • Product/device/security approvals knowledge.
