Our company has a strong focus on compliance and risk management, and we are seeking a talented individual to join our Compliance team in London as a Compliance Officer.

Your responsibilities will include among others:

  • Conducting regulatory horizon scanning to identify, analyse, monitor and evaluate Financial Services regulatory pronouncements that impact our business.
  • Supporting regulatory change implementation by developing and maintaining implementation plans, preparing packs for Regulatory Developments led meetings and taking minutes where required.
  • Designing and implementing compliance learning programmes by consulting with compliance policy owners on how learning interventions should be designed and delivered, working with the Learning & Development function and compliance colleagues to design and deliver, developing and updating training materials, and collaborating with colleagues from across the 3 Lines of Defence to support the embedding of a client and risk-focused culture across the Group.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge and understanding of relevant FS Wealth Management regulatory requirements, including FSMA 2000 / FCA rulebook.
  • Experience of working in the wealth management compliance sector.
  • Good inter-personal skills, judgement and decision-making ability, and a determined and proactive approach.
  • Educated to Degree level.
  • Relevant regulatory qualifications an advantage.
