Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team at the Radisson Blu Cardiff. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, driving sales, and ensuring the smooth operation of our front office operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage front office operations, ensuring seamless guest service delivery across reception and nights.
  • Assist in driving sales targets by identifying and pursuing sales leads from in-house guests.
  • Ensure adequate resource planning and effective recruitment of front office team members, setting departmental objectives and providing continuous employee feedback.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to customer enquiries and requests for bookings, maximizing revenue streams.
  • Train and empower the team to effectively resolve customer complaints and maintain a positive guest experience.
  • Maximize sales through up-selling, using incentives and promotions, and driving guest loyalty through our recognized brand recognition program.
  • Ensure awareness and compliance with all Health & Safety work practices.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have experience within the hospitality industry, preferably in a branded property. You must have experience supervising reception team members and possess excellent communication skills. You should be a problem-solver, able to maintain a positive demeanor under pressure, and have the ability to delegate tasks, provide feedback, manage conflict, and inspire the team to achieve high standards.
