IP Administrator - Patent Specialist

A unique opportunity to be part of a team building one of the leading patent positions in the blockchain space and contribute to nChain's commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage patent filings and prosecution through our network of IP counsels and service providers worldwide.
  2. Track and manage deadlines associated with patent and trademark matters, developing reporting dashboards to help track deadlines.
  3. Compile evidence of trademark use or IDS patent documentation as required, facilitating the signing of legal documents and contracts.
  4. Renew and assign patent and trademark rights, ensuring accurate data storage and management.
  5. Interact with the finance department for invoice approval, following delegation rules and commercial terms.
Requirements and Experience
  • Previous experience in patent formalities and IP support is required.
  • Strong attention to detail, good IT skills, and intercultural awareness are essential.
  • A good working knowledge of Excel, Patent & Trademark databases, and Intellectual Property Filings is necessary.
