About the Job:

As a Compliance and Health and Safety Manager at Carbery, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust HSE policies, procedures, and processes, conducting risk assessments and audits, and providing training and guidance to employees.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced health and safety professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HSE management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and processes.
  2. Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement controls.
  3. Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE matters.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective HSE management systems.
  5. Maintain accurate records of HSE-related activities.
Requirements:
  • Nebosh General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a health and safety management role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Salary:

$90,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
