Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team in an SEN secondary school catering for students aged 11-16 with autism and communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

* Establish a warm and supportive relationship with students to promote their emotional and social well-being
* Respond to the varying needs of the school and adapt to any task presented to ensure the smooth running of the school
* Promote students' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development and spiritual well-being

Requirements:

* Experience working with SEN in an employed or voluntary setting
* Recognised qualification at Level 2 or above in Support work for Teaching and Learning in Schools or an equivalent
* GCSE Maths and English Language qualification minimum Grade 4 or equivalent
* Knowledge or experience of pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD
