Job Title: Senior Engagement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engagement Manager to join our team at NHS. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our internal communications and engagement strategy, developing and implementing effective communication plans, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement internal communications and engagement strategies to promote the Trust's vision and values
  • Lead a small team of communications and engagement specialists to deliver a range of activities, including internal communications, stakeholder engagement, and public consultation
  • Work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement communication plans that support the Trust's strategic objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees, service users, carers, and external partners
  • Develop and maintain a range of internal communications channels, including newsletters, intranet, and social media
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communications and engagement activities
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of working in a senior management/leadership role, preferably in a healthcare or public sector organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond to unexpected demands
  • Ability to work independently and make autonomous decisions, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability
  • Experience of managing a budget and leading a team
