Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Outage and Retrofit Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for the coordination and execution of outage and retrofit projects for large industrial plants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage site activities, ensuring timely and within-budget completion of projects
  • Lead and coordinate contracts and contractors on site, ensuring compliance with HSEQ requirements
  • Develop and implement HSEQ plans, ensuring the safety and well-being of personnel and the environment
  • Collaborate with site management and HSE teams to identify and mitigate HSE hazards
  • Review and implement risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) to ensure HSE compliance
  • Manage on-site service teams, working closely with Service Managers/Project Managers and Site Supervisors to deliver outage/retrofit service activities
  • Implement standardized engineering methods to identify complex problems and provide solutions
  • Support Site Supervisors and teams to achieve objectives and provide guidance to consortium partners, sub-contractors, and colleagues
  • Assist Service Manager in creating outage and retrofit bids, including calculations, and apply continuous change control and plus/minus list cost management
  • Deliver lessons learned and feedback for current and future projects
  • Follow up and ensure closure of contractor's punch items and keep Service/Project Manager informed of all site-related activities

Requirements

  • Education as Process or Mechanical Engineer
  • Experience in site management and control of outage/retrofit project mechanical services for large industrial plants
  • Experience in coordinating contracts/contractors on site
  • Experience as a leader of HSEQ and knowledge of relevant HSEQ legal and management system requirements
  • Knowledge of relevant international and national technical standards
  • Ability to complete audits and write technical reports
