Mobile Testing Solutions Ltd (MTS) is a global exam service provider for various exam boards and an online exam preparation school.
We are currently seeking 02 Test Administrators for our Milton Keynes venue on a casual zero-hours contract basis.
Job Details:- Casual, Zero-Hours basis
- Salary: £13.20 per hour (including holiday pay of 12.07%)
- Location: Office-based role, at Milton Keynes
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the UK and meet further 'Life in the UK' (LITUK) exams clearance requirements
- Exams days: Fridays and Saturdays
- Start date: Immediate start
- Reporting Manager: Senior Test Administrator
- Deliver MTS's examinations and examination administration by carrying out test monitoring tasks as assigned on test days
- Set up rooms, arrange tables and chairs according to the number of test takers
- Provide basic local venue IT support and ensure computer terminals, digital recording devices, ID cameras and CCTV are exam-ready
- Perform light cleaning and tidying duties, including putting away papers, sweeping up pencil sharpenings and eraser fragments, and emptying bins
- Carry out regular audits, guided by the Senior Test Administrator
- Ensure proper security in the examination room to preserve the integrity of the exam
- Use own email address and email account for correspondence with MTS colleagues and ensure MTS's confidential, internal documents, information and data are not disclosed to anyone other than their intended recipient/reader
- Use own laptop or desktop PC for self-led e-learning/online training events and Teams or Zoom meetings or training sessions
- Be willing to use own smartphone and data allowance to access MTS's system
- Comply fully with MTS's GDPR, data protection policies, standards and Safeguarding (Children and Vulnerable People) policy and any other signed compliance agreements
- Participate actively in performance monitoring exercise based on the exam performance for continuous improvement
- Be smartly dressed as per MTS policy
- Have a commercial mindset for actively cross-selling or up-selling MTS's products and service
- Give our test takers the highest level of customer care, ensure secure and safe exams administration and abiding by the rules and regulations set by each examining body
- Carry out any other tasks and activities for MTS, according to business priority, as appropriate for this level role
- Secondary education
- Good communication in English (equivalent to CEFR B2 or above)
- Good IT literacy
- Comfortable with commonly used IT hardware and software including digital video camera technology
- Ability to understand and implement all the rules and regulations of the examination
- Absolute commitment to confidentiality and duty of care
- Customer centric with a commercial mindset
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good problem-solving abilities and ability to carry out multiple tasks at the same time
- Ability to work under pressure
- Mature, calm, attentive, responsible and professional manner
- Team player and can-do attitude
- Flexibility in terms of working hours
- Must have long-term eligibility to live and work in the UK
- Have a clear criminal record
