About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Capital Projects Director to join our team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our estate development team, you will be responsible for delivering capital projects across our four sites in Salford, Oldham, Rochdale, and Bury.

Your primary focus will be on supporting the delivery of our estate capital programme, ensuring excellence of facilities is achieved within financial constraints. You will work closely with project teams and construction partners to deliver capital projects from feasibility through to timely completion and within budget.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in capital development, with experience of managing large-scale projects within live environments. You will also need to have a sound knowledge of commercial, governance, operational, and legal structures and their application.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to be a strong stakeholder manager, able to work with contractors, clinicians, and other colleagues to deliver projects to high standards using best sustainable practices while achieving value for money.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the delivery of the NCA's estate capital programme to ensure excellence of facilities is achieved within financial constraints.
  2. Prepare and maintain project plans and other project documentation and publish these to project boards.
  3. Deliver capital projects from feasibility through to timely completion and within budget working alongside project teams and construction partners.
  4. Ensure all capital projects are completed to high standards using best sustainable practices while achieving value for money.
