Wellbeing Programme Lead

Job Summary
We seek a seasoned Wellbeing Manager to lead our recreational and therapeutic programmes, ensuring they cater to the diverse needs and desires of our residents. The successful candidate will oversee a team of Wellbeing Assistants, collaborating to create engaging group and individualised activity plans based on residents' interests, abilities, and life experiences.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the home manager and clinical lead to promote the completion of biographies and enhance colleagues' understanding of residents' needs and preferences.
- Engage with residents, relatives, friends, and colleagues to gather insights into residents' likes, dislikes, interests, and challenges.
- Communicate effectively to educate, promote wellbeing, and facilitate daily activities prioritising resident safety and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Develop links with local and national organisations to enrich the wellbeing offer at Fairmile Grange.
- Maintain and evolve existing programs such as the memory clinic, relative groups, and church services, fostering community involvement.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working with vulnerable adults
- Proven ability to work independently and utilise initiative
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in creating activity care plans
- Ability to assess risk and develop appropriate assessments
- IT literacy and social media proficiency
