Year 6 SEND Support Assistant

Job Description:
Sanza Teaching Agency is delighted to be working with a supportive and friendly two-form entry primary school in the London Borough of Haringey. We are seeking a dedicated Year 6 SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for pupils with special educational needs.
About the Position:
The role is a long-term position, Monday to Friday, 5 days per week. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualised support plans for pupils with SEND.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Provide 1:1 support to SEND pupils in Year 6 to ensure they can access learning and thrive in a supportive environment.
- Have previous experience supporting pupils with special needs, ideally in a primary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to build a positive rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
Pay and Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive competitive pay rates of £90-£95 per day (PAYE). This is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming school and make a meaningful impact on the educational journey of Year 6 pupils with SEND.
