Occupational Therapy Assistant

Our Therapy department is one of the largest and busiest, with 250+ therapists from Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech and Language Therapy.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will assist Occupational Therapists in maintaining a high standard of patient care by undertaking delegated interventions and administrative duties. This will involve working across services, including Older Adults Frailty services, and undertaking weekend working commitments as part of a 7-day working rota.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Occupational Therapists in delivering delegated clinical programmes of management
- Undertake general administration to support the running of the department
- Utilise and stock check resources and equipment
- Perform other non-clinical tasks as required
The post requires a flexible approach to working and the ability to work under the direction of qualified Occupational Therapists. The successful candidate will also require good communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
