Occupational Therapy Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our occupational therapists in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist occupational therapists in delivering rehabilitation programs to patients with physical disabilities.
- Provide support to patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Assist with the maintenance of patient records and reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
- Develop and maintain good communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in occupational therapy or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
